My Creative Time Throwback Thursday Challenge

Image
So this is my entry for Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge over at My Creative Time . The challenge was to use Doodlecharms or any older cartridge and the color blue had to be somewhere in our project. Well I don't have Doodlecharms so I used Paisley which is one of the oldest shape cartridges I have! Here's what I came up with: Recipe: Purse, cut from Paisley at 3.5" Patterned paper: Echo Park Little Girl Collection Solid Cardstock: The Paper Company Flowers: Prima Ribbon: Bazzill Basics Stamp: My Pink Stamper's Pink-alicious set Stardust Stickles Ink: Momento Rich Cocoa I think it turned out cute, this is a super quick card, I think it was 15 mins, including cutting the purse & doing the picture, lol, normally my creative process takes a little longer. :) Happy Crafting! Brit

Last One

So this is the last project I did for MPS's NSD Celebration. Challenge #11, use Pink, Black & Green. I love this card! Paper is DCWV, other than plain card stock which is The Paper Company. "Rock On!" is from Everyday Life by My Pink Stamper, Guitar is cut from Hannah Montana, & the tulle is from the fabric dept at J's.

Understated Glam

Image
So here we go again, lol, post #7 for MPS's NSD Celebration. I'm not participating in Challenge #8 so here we go directly to challenge #9. Glitz, Glam & Glitter. I decided to do kind of understated glam. Metallic shimmer paper, patterned paper that has glittery stripes and then rhinestones & satin ribbon. It's not obvious, but in person it looks pretty glam, and I love it.

Create a Scrapbook Layout

Image
Okay, so here's post #6 for MPS's NSD Celebration. Challenge #7 was to make a scrapbook layout. This layout ended up being an experiment because I've never used Tim Holtz Distress Inks before, and well, I've only got 1 color, and now I want a bunch more. I'm not usually a "messy" person when it comes to scrapbook pages, and playing with Distress Inks totally changed that! See below the pictures as always for more details.  Okay, so there is a lot going on! Inking, stitching, stamping, embossing, doodling, heat setting studs, I did a lot, lol.  Products Used: 12 x 12 Cardstock by Wassau Paper Echo Park Little Boy Collection(Patterned Paper & Alpha stickers) Tim Holtz Distress Ink(Brushed Corduroy) Blue Chalk Ink from Chocolate & Blueberries Cat's Eye Stack by Colorbox Baker's Twine by The Twinery Thread by DMC Glimmer Mist in Marshmallow & Graphite Heat Set Rhine-studs by Tulip Buttons from my stash Stamped words are done with

Hey! It's a "Handy Dandy Notebook"!

Image
It's me, yet again! Are you sick of me yet? I'm back with post #5 for MPS's NSD Celebration. This is for Challenge #6 , which was to incorporate a tag. Now, I don't like tags, I don't really use them, but I got a collection that I thought was really cute, and had a sheet of cut apart tags, so I mounted one on a sheet of patterned paper, inked it up a bit, added a little bling and stamped a sentiment on it. Products Used: Sentiment is from My Pink Stamper's Buggy Punnies Cardstock from The Paper Company Patterned Paper & tag from Dilly Dally by Making Memories Heat Set Rhinestones by Tulip *also used my Cinch Machine and Apron Lace border punch by Fiskars.  The first thing my 4 year old son and 2 year old niece said was "It's a handy dandy notebook!". I'm thinking they've seen Blue's Clues one too many times. At any rate, they both want their own notebooks now, lol.

Something new...

Image
Welcome to post #4 of my entries for MPS's NSD Celebration! This is for Challenge #5 which was to make any 3-D item. I decided to try something new and made this cute 2-5-7-10 box. The tutorial for it is on Split Coast Stampers, I'll try to find it later and post a link for it.  Products Used: Pink Cardstock from The Paper Company Ribbon from my stash All other products from Echo Park Life is Good Collection.  I'm not sure what I'm gonna use this for yet, but I like it. :-)

Mother's Day Theme

Image
I decided not to do Challenge #3, so here we go directly to Challenge #4 for MPS's NSD Celebration. We were to make anything with a Mother's Day theme. I again chose a card, simply because I hadn't yet made my mom's card. :-) Products Used: Echo Park Springtime Collection White Cardstock for base from The Paper Company Also some Stardust Stickles in the stripes.  Used a corner punch by Fiskars on all corners, & the Apron Lace border punch by Fiskars on the striped edge.  Pretty basic card, but I like it.  You'll be seeing a lot of EP, simply because I love them! I have lots of their paper, so I seem to be using mostly that right now.

Kraft Cardstock

Image
Post # 2 for MPS's NSD Celebration. Challenge #2 was to use Kraft Cardstock in a card or LO. I chose to make a card. I used kraft cardstock for the base, and then layered it with the banner also.   Products Used:  Echo Park Springtime Collection Baker's Twine from The Twinery Heat Set Rhine-studs from Tulip Kraft Cardstock from The Paper Company.  *Happy Birthday tag, butterflies & banner are all stickers from the Collection kit. For the banner, it was one sticker that I cut apart, mounted on cardstock and cut out.

Anything Cupcake

Image
I decided to participate in My Pink Stamper's National Scrapbook Day Celebration, so get ready for a flood of posts & pictures from the challenges I participated in! Challenge #1 was Anything Cupcake.  The patterned papers are from the DCWV Sweet Stack, cupcake stamp is by Inkadinkado, sentiment stamp is from Studio G and cardstock is from The Paper Company. The image is colored with Bic Mark-It markers & also has Stardust Stickles on it.
