I promised details...

So I made this cute little card for Unity's Friends With Flair on Friday and promised to come back and give you details. Note to self: Posting on the blog with only the cell phone is not a good idea! It's hard and not very fun. :-)  So here's the card again:  He was stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black on acrylic painting paper. Then I got out the fun Tim Holtz Distress Markers and started coloring. I used Festive Berries, Evergreen Bough & Iced Spruce which were the winter colors when they were limited release inks. It was fun. I did completely color each section and then used a water brush just to soften it up just a little. Finished him off using Tim Holtz Distress Stickles in Picket Fence on his awesome Santa hat and the snow under him.  For the base of the card, ha, I'm sneaky and you think it's a white cardstock base, but it's actually an acrylic front that I then attached a piece of white card stock. Unity {beInspired} Challenge

So I just got the full set of Tim Holtz Distress Markers, I know, I know, they've been out for a while, but I wasn't paying full price for them and I got a killer deal on them from Blitsy.com. :-) So I did a little experimenting with them these last few days, and then yesterday finally sat down and created an actual project with them. I used a flower petal and a leaf stamp that I got in a grab bag from Unity Stamp Co, and the sentiment is from them too. I'm entering this in their {beInspired} Monthly Challenge for the Color Challenge. Here's what they gave us for a color palette:  I used Black, Orange, Green, Purple and the barest hint of that Cream color that you can't really see in the pic, but eh.
