PBD Challenge #9

So challenge #9 is to use buttons. Oh, I've got a lot of those, I love using them, but I don't use them on anything I'm going to mail, I know a very cute little girl with a birthday coming up though and we're going to her party so this is for her. :-)


Alright, I'm off for a bit, my stomach is ready to eat itself since I haven't fed it all day so I'm going to do that and I'll be back after a bit. :-)

    Cute card! I love the way you randomly added the buttons! And I totally understand about mailing hand made cards; I sometimes have to add extra postage due to the layers and weight.

Growing in Unity Blog Hop

Hi! Thanks for joining us for the GIU blog hop, if you got here from Amy 's blog then you're in the right spot. This is going up a bit late as I'm having major pc issues! So for the hop today, I'm showing you my massive project that I'm working on. I decided to make recipe books for a few people for Christmas and so I'm starting now. I'm using the Chilled Strawberry Soup set, I love it, it's super cute! I'm doing a few different cards into a single set. The set I'm currently working on use the strawberry, oven mitt and the heart.  I think that I'll end up with 20 or 30 of each card type per set. Growing in Unity Week: Day 1!

Hi! Welcome to Day One of my Growing in Unity Week! I'm super excited to be one of the Growing in Unity people for 2014. I'll be sharing projects everyday using stamps from Unity Stamp Co.  and if you comment on my post for the day you'll be entered to win 2 itty bitty stamps from Unity(there's 540 itty bitty stamps showing in the category right now so you'll have TONS of choices)!  For Day One, I decided to play with the stamp set "Bee Happy Hexagons". I got it not too long ago and this is the first time I have gotten to play with it. I attempted to do a clean and simple card, and while I like the finished product, it definitely looks clean, but wasn't very simple to do. Here it is:  I stamped all the colored hexagons using my Tim Holtz Distress Markers(I used Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, and Mowed Grass) and then cut them all out.
