Hi there! Welcome to the CropChocolate.com Design Team Banner Blog Hop! If you got here from Miwa's blog, you're in the right place. If you just stumbled across my blog today, start back at Amber's blog and follow along with us. There is blog candy along the way, and a prize from CropChocolate.com too! So this is my project: I'm not going to give all of the details here, it was a ton of steps, so I'll do a detailed post after the blog hop is all done, but this is for my son's room. Here's the close ups: CC Products Used: a TON of MM Just Chillin' Boys Paper Ranger Stickles "Goldenrod" Non CC Products: Kraft Cardstock(The Paper Company) Random Ribbon from my stash. I was really nervous that this project was going to look too girly for his room(he's 5 1/2 years old now), but the Just Chillin' papers worked great! Hi! Thanks for joining us for the GIU blog hop, if you got here from Amy 's blog then you're in the right spot. This is going up a bit late as I'm having major pc issues! So for the hop today, I'm showing you my massive project that I'm working on. I decided to make recipe books for a few people for Christmas and so I'm starting now. I'm using the Chilled Strawberry Soup set, I love it, it's super cute! I'm doing a few different cards into a single set. The set I'm currently working on use the strawberry, oven mitt and the heart. I think that I'll end up with 20 or 30 of each card type per set. Such a huge undertaking. :-) I hope you liked my project, don't forget to leave a comment, 2 commentators from the hop will win some Unity stamps. Thanks for stopping by, the next blog on the hop is Carisa . Brittany
Hi! Welcome to Day One of my Growing in Unity Week! I'm super excited to be one of the Growing in Unity people for 2014. I'll be sharing projects everyday using stamps from Unity Stamp Co. and if you comment on my post for the day you'll be entered to win 2 itty bitty stamps from Unity(there's 540 itty bitty stamps showing in the category right now so you'll have TONS of choices)! For Day One, I decided to play with the stamp set "Bee Happy Hexagons". I got it not too long ago and this is the first time I have gotten to play with it. I attempted to do a clean and simple card, and while I like the finished product, it definitely looks clean, but wasn't very simple to do. Here it is: I stamped all the colored hexagons using my Tim Holtz Distress Markers(I used Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, and Mowed Grass) and then cut them all out. I stamped all the black outlines using that stamp from the set and cut them all out. Then
