MPS National Scrapbook Day Challenge #2-4

Challenge # 2: Use Scraps. I don't think I realized exactly how many scraps I had until I started going through them. I should really make myself use them more! I just love this purple flower paper though. All paper by DCWV.

Challenge #3: Do Something You Usually Don't- This would be all the white pen work. I see other people use it, and even bought the white pen months ago, but I think this the only the second time I've ever used it. I kinda like it. Again, all paper is DCWV.

Challenge #4: I Like You the Least(Use cartridge you use the least/like the least)- This ended up being All Mixed Up for me. I like the font but rarely use it. Not really sure why, but I kinda like how this card turned out. All paper is DCWV, flowers are Prima.

Growing in Unity Day 2!

Hi! Thanks for stopping back in today for my second day as Unity Stamp Company 's Growing in Unity gal! My card today is made with an older stamp set, Life's Short... Eat Cake! which was co-branded with Simple Stories. This set is fun, I usually use it for kid's cards but decided to try it out as one for someone a little older this time. Here's my card! It's a little distressed, the paper was slightly distressed looking to begin with so I used my Distress Markers to stamp with to add to that look. Growing in Unity Blog Hop

Hi! Thanks for joining us for the GIU blog hop, if you got here from Amy 's blog then you're in the right spot. This is going up a bit late as I'm having major pc issues! So for the hop today, I'm showing you my massive project that I'm working on. I decided to make recipe books for a few people for Christmas and so I'm starting now. I'm using the Chilled Strawberry Soup set, I love it, it's super cute! I'm doing a few different cards into a single set. The set I'm currently working on use the strawberry, oven mitt and the heart.  I think that I'll end up with 20 or 30 of each card type per set.
