Growing in Unity Week: Day Two

Hi again all! I'm back with my second project for my Growing in Unity week. This time around I made a baby card with the set "Hello Little One". I love this set, it's super cute and I love the animals! Of course, I couldn't pick just one so I used all three. :-)
Here's my card:

See, they're super cute! I used my Distress Markers again. They're pretty much solid rubber and I didn't want them black or solid brown so I grabbed the markers again. :-) I used Broken China, Worn Lipstick, Gathered Twigs, Brushed Corduroy, Mustard Seed & Spiced Marmalade. After doing the animals in color, I carried it on to the sentiment. I decided it made it more cohesive. The papers are from My Mind's Eye Sweetest Thing-Tangerine. Also used baker's twine from The Twinery in Shore Stripe, Cantaloupe Stripe & Buttercream Stripe.

I love how this card turned out! Don't forget to leave a comment to have a chance to win 2 itty bitty stamps of your choice from Unity Stamp Co. I'll draw a name sometime after midnight, Friday night so make sure you comment every day this week for max chances to win! :-)

Thanks for stopping by & I'll see you tomorrow!
Brittany

  12. I really love how you're using the distress line in your cards. I have a ton of the inks and a handful of the markers and am still trying to figure out how to use them. I love how they look here; I might try coloring my solid stamps with them, too!
