Another one for HIMCR...

Okay, I was having a creative streak tonight and made a second card for Hiding in My Craft Room's Challenge. If you missed the last post, it's for Challenge #137: Designer x3. Basically, use 3 pattern papers. Last time I used MME, this time, I've got DCWV. I just got the Burlap Paper 6 x 6 stack last week and I've been dying to use it, so I dug out my Animal Crackers Mat Stack, and some Unity Stamp Co stamps(I used "Hello Little One") and got to work. Here's what I came up with: 


A little more subtle on the patterns with this one. The red, brown & green are all patterned but they tend to "read" as a solid. Especially in a card like this. And I love the animal prints in the polka dots. The hearts were glittered with Xmas Red Stickles from Ranger, and the ink is CTMH Cocoa. 

Alright, it's almost 2 am here, I'm off to bed. Maybe I'll see you yet again this weekend. I'm feeling rather paper crafty at the moment. :-)

Growing in Unity Blog Hop

Hi! Thanks for joining us for the GIU blog hop, if you got here from Amy 's blog then you're in the right spot. This is going up a bit late as I'm having major pc issues! So for the hop today, I'm showing you my massive project that I'm working on. I decided to make recipe books for a few people for Christmas and so I'm starting now. I'm using the Chilled Strawberry Soup set, I love it, it's super cute! I'm doing a few different cards into a single set. The set I'm currently working on use the strawberry, oven mitt and the heart.  I think that I'll end up with 20 or 30 of each card type per set. My Cricut Craft Room's Card & Invitation Blog Hop

Welcome to the Card & Invitation Blog Hop hosted by Erica at My Cricut Craft Room. If you're just stumbling upon my blog start at the beginning { HERE }, this will get you to Erica's blog and let you know all the requirements for the blog hop candy. Here we go! So I'm completely unsure what I'm using this card for yet, but I like it. It measures 4" x 8". The base is a die cut sheet from the 8 x 8 pack of patterned paper from the Dilly Dally line by Making Memories. The plaid & butterfly print are also from that line, I manipulated a bracket shape on my Gypsy so that it would mimic the shape. Not sure which cartridge it ended up being off of. The ribbon is by Making Memories also it's from a vintage line, grosgrain with a ruffled edge. The yellow flower is a sticker from the Making Memories Chloe's Closet line and the stick pins are from that line also. The "Live. Laugh. Love." stamp on the bottom right corner is from My Pink Stampe
