GiU Day Four!

Hi there! Where did almost the entire week go? This week has flown right by. So this is day 4 of my Growing in Unity week with Unity Stamp Co. I sat down to do this card today and it kind of ended up as an experiment. It's cute, but not my favorite. It sure was fun playing with the sprays for the background though! :-) I love the stamp though, I used Happy Chick Birthday, I stamped the bigger chick and then stamped the entire image right next to it. Again, I used a Sakura Stardust Pen for sparkle. Here's my card:


In real life the pink's are pretty close to identical. :-)

    Applause for showing a card thats not 100% your favorite, we all have those cards, I think these are the ones we learn most from! I have this stamp and I love it too, so cute and fun for making those birthday cards!

    Very cute! Love those birdies!!! That background....first thing I thought of was that it would be perfect for a coffee/tea/hot cocoa themed card. I quite like it ♥

My Cricut Craft Room's Card & Invitation Blog Hop

Welcome to the Card & Invitation Blog Hop hosted by Erica at My Cricut Craft Room. If you're just stumbling upon my blog start at the beginning { HERE }, this will get you to Erica's blog and let you know all the requirements for the blog hop candy. Here we go! So I'm completely unsure what I'm using this card for yet, but I like it. It measures 4" x 8". The base is a die cut sheet from the 8 x 8 pack of patterned paper from the Dilly Dally line by Making Memories. The plaid & butterfly print are also from that line, I manipulated a bracket shape on my Gypsy so that it would mimic the shape. Not sure which cartridge it ended up being off of. The ribbon is by Making Memories also it's from a vintage line, grosgrain with a ruffled edge. The yellow flower is a sticker from the Making Memories Chloe's Closet line and the stick pins are from that line also. The "Live. Laugh. Growing in Unity Blog Hop

Hi! Thanks for joining us for the GIU blog hop, if you got here from Amy 's blog then you're in the right spot. This is going up a bit late as I'm having major pc issues! So for the hop today, I'm showing you my massive project that I'm working on. I decided to make recipe books for a few people for Christmas and so I'm starting now. I'm using the Chilled Strawberry Soup set, I love it, it's super cute! I'm doing a few different cards into a single set. The set I'm currently working on use the strawberry, oven mitt and the heart.  I think that I'll end up with 20 or 30 of each card type per set.
