Kraftin' Kimmie Guest DT tryout

So Kim over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps completely rocks and opened up a guest design team contest! I knew that I would actually have time to participate for the full month this time around and so decided to throw my hat in the ring. Here are the two projects I did. I kept it pretty simple and decided to focus on the stamps instead of doing a super detailed background.

The first stamp set I decided to use was Happiness is Reading. I kind of adore the little boy image in this set, he's so happy with his books and puppy!

I used papers from the Echo Park "That's My BOY" Collection. They worked so well with this stamp.

The second image I decided to use was Look for Rainbows. She's so cute, sassy and has great sentiments!

I used papers from the Heidi Swapp "Favorite Things" 6 x 6 paper pad for this card. I also used a clear Wink of Stella marker on the umbrella. The studs are glittered and are from the Imaginisce iRock line.

Both images were colored with Spectrum Noir markers and colored on 110 lb cardstock from Core'dinations.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I love your coloring and the papers that you chose.

  2. These are adorable. Love how alive they are.

  3. Very cute cards!

Not so sure this is the right spot to comment for the Unity Blog Hop though since this particular post doesn't mention Unity at all. Kind of confused. LOL

  4. It's pretty! But not Unity, I'm also confused!
