In the spirit of...


birthdays & Christmas, I'm giving away a present! Okay so it's really some blog candy but who's really gonna protest what I call it? lol. Who's birthday you may ask? Well, my son's was Dec. 8, and mine is Christmas Eve! There is a whole lot of celebrating in my house in December!

What am I giving away? Well see the picture above? You'll win all 8 bags. I'm gonna go with calling them skittles, because well, that's what we called them on the Cricut message board when everyone was trying to find them everywhere about a year or so ago, lol! I wanna say they are 7mm, black & white are opaque, all others are translucent. They are the same thing as Dew Drops. I bought tons in bulk and now I'm sharing!

    Oooohhhh.. that blog candy looks so pretty! I'm in. I am on CC. Hmmm.. favorite Christmas gift? I think it was the year I found out I was expecting my first child on Christmas Eve, and got to share the news with the whole family on Christmas. That was pretty special.

    I just had a huge comment and it got eaten, so a shorter version! Very cute blog candy! I am not sure of a favourite traditional gift so I will tell you of a non-traditional gift! I was out of province for training and was homesick but was able to fly in for Christmas. The big joke was we as BC'ers would be the only ones making it back due to the weather. As luck would have it we were the only ones snowed in! It was a fantastic holiday with being snowed in, time with family and friends without to much rush due to the weather. I had a few extra days due to the airports being closed and the gift of time was much appreciated.

    My favorite Christmas gift...(if you can call it that) is meeting my husband at a Christmas eve party 14 years ago. We have been together ever since. :) I am on the Cricut message board as momof_4.

    what a sweet thing to do! ^_^ I'm on CC as pandora, though I haven't been chatting much lately. *gotta fix that* and my fav gift of ALL time is my niece, she too is a Christmas Eve baby and the best gift my sister ever gave me (though for some reason I wasn't allowed to keep her). She was born on Christmas Eve of 92 and I was only 12, but it is still my fav Christmas ^_^

    How cute these would be on cards!
    My most memorable and fave Christmas present was when I was 3 years old and my brother was 6 years old. We got a puppy and we named her Puffy. She was the best pet in the world! She died when I was 19 and away at college. I felt it and called my mom. She didn't want to tell me over the phone so she lied. That was 18 years ago and my mom still cries when we talk about Puffy.

    thanks for the opportunity to win - love your blog! My best Christmas/Birthday present was 4 years ago when my husband went into my scrap room and made me a handmade card and wrote me a note that for Christmas and my Birthday (at the end of December) he wanted to try IVF one more time (he was against it as we had 17 years of trying to have children), "he had a feeling", he wrote. Well on February 5th 2007, I became pregnant and we have 3 year old twins now!!!! I am on cc mommyx2, I have never posted to a blog - this is my first time.

    My favorite Christmas gift ever was my beagle puppy Baxter. Since, he has grown up too big, ruined just about everything in my house, and never stops barking, but I can't help but love him anyway!

    My favorite Christmas gift would have to be my son. He actually wasn't born until the 26th but labor started at 4am on Christmas morning.

    My fav Christmas gift goes back to my childhood - I got a large soft toy version of Smurfette when I was 6 and it happened that day I ended up having a major Asthma attack and going off to hospital for half the day. That toy came with me and was a big comfort; she then became my favourite toy and slept in my bed until I was at high school. I refused to let me mum throw her out so I still have her in storage back home :)

My Cricut Craft Room's Card & Invitation Blog Hop

Welcome to the Card & Invitation Blog Hop hosted by Erica at My Cricut Craft Room. If you're just stumbling upon my blog start at the beginning { HERE }, this will get you to Erica's blog and let you know all the requirements for the blog hop candy. Here we go! So I'm completely unsure what I'm using this card for yet, but I like it. It measures 4" x 8". The base is a die cut sheet from the 8 x 8 pack of patterned paper from the Dilly Dally line by Making Memories. The plaid & butterfly print are also from that line, I manipulated a bracket shape on my Gypsy so that it would mimic the shape. Not sure which cartridge it ended up being off of. The ribbon is by Making Memories also it's from a vintage line, grosgrain with a ruffled edge. The yellow flower is a sticker from the Making Memories Chloe's Closet line and the stick pins are from that line also. The "Live. Laugh. Growing in Unity Blog Hop

Hi! Thanks for joining us for the GIU blog hop, if you got here from Amy 's blog then you're in the right spot. This is going up a bit late as I'm having major pc issues! So for the hop today, I'm showing you my massive project that I'm working on. I decided to make recipe books for a few people for Christmas and so I'm starting now. I'm using the Chilled Strawberry Soup set, I love it, it's super cute! I'm doing a few different cards into a single set. The set I'm currently working on use the strawberry, oven mitt and the heart.  I think that I'll end up with 20 or 30 of each card type per set.
